Together with their co-sponsors, Pinnacle Surety, an Alliant Company, raised more than $70,000 for local charities

Costa Mesa, Calif., May 24, 2022 — Pinnacle Surety, an Alliant Company, was a proud sponsor of the Hoag Classic Golf Tournament presented by Hoag Hospital, raising more than$70,000 for the Hoag Hospital Foundation and other local charities, far surpassing expectations.

Emerging from the COVID-19 pandemic, the team at Pinnacle, led by Eric Lowey and Mark Richardson, were humbled by their clients and colleagues’ generosity, welcoming them back to this premier event after a two-year hiatus.

“It’s been a long couple of years and we’re thrilled to be back,” Lowey said. “The support for this event has been fantastic. We spent a few days golfing with some amazing corporate partners, and then back at our cabana on the 17th tee, networking and reconnecting while raising money for a good cause. It’s a no-brainer for us – really a dream come true,” Lowey said.

In addition to their fundraising efforts, the team at Pinnacle was also celebrating joining forces with Alliant Insurance Services.
“In April of 2020 we were acquired by Alliant Insurance Services and we’re thrilled because they’re the largest construction broker in the country,” Richardson explained. “As business owners, we’re always looking to mitigate our risk. Partnering with Alliant has given us access to many more tools to help our clients mitigate their risk. Not just in surety bonds, but insurance, workers compensation, disability … it’s a wide range of products that allow us to better fulfill our clients’ needs.” Eric Lowey and Mark Richardson both serve as a First Vice President, Construction Services Group, Alliant Insurance Services, Inc. since the acquisition.

“We want to thank all of our sponsors. Everyone who had participated before jumped on right away, and this year we had even more people come along,” Lowey said.
“It’s a beautiful day, it’s a beautiful course and it’s exciting, but at the end of the day it means a lot to us to raise money for Hoag Hospital,” Richardson said. “That’s really what this is all about.”
