Revered as an Orange County tradition, the Hoag Classic is one of the largest philanthropic events of the PGA Champions tour.
January 31, 2019, Costa Mesa, CA. Award winning Surety Bonds Agency, Pinnacle Surety, has confirmed their sponsorship and participation in the 2019 HOAG Classic with a goal of raising more than $50,000 in charitable donations for this year’s tournament.
The Hoag Classic is the largest annual event in Orange County, producing record earnings for Hoag of more than $20 million throughout the tournament’s history. In addition to being regarded as the most philanthropic event of the PGA Champions Tour, the Hoag Classic draws a field of professional players that rival any other major golfing event in the country, creating a compelling competition for attendees and enthusiasts of the sport.
Proceeds of the tournament have benefited many of Hoag’s institutes including the Hoag Cancer Foundation, the Sue & Bill Gross Women’s Pavilion, Jeffrey M. Carlton Heart and Vascular Institute, and Mary & Dick Allen Diabetes Center. In addition to Hoag, secured contributions have also been issued to the support and funding of more than 50 local charities within Orange County and neighboring communities.
