Kevin Cathcart Producer

Kevin Cathcart is a professional surety bond agent who joined Pinnacle Surety in 2014. Kevin began his contract surety bond experience in 2009, which has afforded him a portfolio of long-term client relationships, and a reputation for high-volume production. Clients rely on Kevin because they know he will thoroughly examine their business models and needs, allowing him to serve as a well-informed and persuasive representative to surety companies on his clients’ behalf. Before joining the fast-paced and ever-changing bonding industry, Kevin spent 10 years in the residential and commercial finance industry. There, he honed his customer service skills and developed a penchant for staying ahead of regulatory issues and lending trends. Kevin learned the value of hard work and customer service early in life. After studying business and finance at Saddleback College in Mission Viejo, CA, Kevin relocated to Hawaii and picked up trade skills as a tile and painting contractor. His variety of employment and life experiences gives Kevin a broad business perspective. In addition, he added to his education by completing Level I and II of the National Association of Surety Bond Producers, William J. Angell Underwriting Surety School. Kevin now lives in Laguna Niguel, CA with his wife and daughter, where he continues to surf and spends time deep-sea fishing and off-roading.
